Bible Without Pages exists to make Scripture heard in Vlorë, Albania — one handheld audio Bible at a time.
The Founder
Christie Richardson
Christie is a missionary, ordained pastor, and chaplain — and the founder of In the Field Media, the parent nonprofit behind Bible Without Pages. With a Doctorate in Law & Policy, a Master of Divinity, and years of service in the U.S. Navy and Georgia Air National Guard, she brings a unique combination of academic rigor, spiritual depth, and practical mission experience.
She has served in Haiti, Kenya, Greece, and Albania — working with government officials in Liberia on academic exchange, directing Gracie's Academy in Kenya, and carrying the mission of making Scripture accessible to communities that need it most.
On August 1, 2026, Christie will mark one full year of living and serving in Albania. That day also marks the official launch of Bible Without Pages — bringing Scripture to people through portable audio Bible distribution.
Mission Background
A nation where faith is quiet — but growing.
In Vlorë, Albania, faith is often quiet — private, cautious, and new. This is a nation where the majority of the population is Muslim, and yet a grassroots movement is stirring. People are curious. Hearts are hungry. And many are encountering Jesus not through a printed page, but through a voice.
Here's what we're building: a simple, durable way for people to hear Scripture clearly, privately, and repeatedly — whether they can read well or not, whether they own a smartphone or not, whether they feel safe carrying a Bible or not.
When someone hears the Bible in their own space — on a walk, at home, late at night — barriers come down. The message becomes personal.
Our Mission

Audio Bibles bypass literacy limitations, cost barriers, and the scarcity of printed Scripture in Albania.
Decades of enforced atheism under communist rule left a deep spiritual void. Many in Vlorë have never held a Bible.
A single handheld device can serve an entire household — playing Scripture in Albanian wherever life happens.
This is not a one-time drop. We partner with local leaders, follow up with prayer, and stay connected.

This mission is already beginning — but August 1, 2026, is our official launch date for Bible Without Pages. We need to get these audio Bibles into the hands of new believers, seekers, and families quickly so they can be discipled and strengthened from the start.
